FAQ Overview We receive many calls throughout the year. Most of the questions that potential customers have follow a common theme. We've attempted to compile a list of the most Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) to help you learn more about our services. In addition, we've tried to add more information to our web site to give you a one-stop shopping center for information.
How many reservations can Wilder's systems make per day?
Answer: There are very few limitations to the number of reservations that our calls can make per day. Our systems installed at the Federal Aviation Administration make hundreds of reservations per day. Some of the flying club systems may only take a few reservations per day. If you have requirements for a very large scheduling system, we'd recommend additional phone lines (we'll help calculate how many) and a larger hard drive than we'd put on a "normal" system.
My scheduling/reservation data is critical. How reliable are your systems? Answer: Our customers are the best source of information regarding the reliability of our systems. One customer has processed more than 400,000 reservations and can verify that not one reservation has been lost! Wilder Engineering will provide references upon request so that you can verify this data first hand.
Do I need to be a computer expert to run the system?
Answer: Funny you should ask. We recently got a call from a customer whose system had been running for more than 2 years. They wanted to know how to turn the machine off and back on because they had to move their computer equipment to a new location. In two years they had never had a reason to touch their computer. The answer is no. Our systems are menu drive. If you should need help with any of the computer administration tasks, our technical support staff would be glad to help you.
